Since I gave up on the White Sox season (see June 23rd post), they have been the hottest team in baseball. So much for my baseball knowledge. Now I'm jogging along side the White Sox bandwagon thinking about jumping back on. Tonight I went to the game with Marko, Nick & Patty. Jose Contreras pitched a gem, striking out 9 batters in 6 innings. The Sox beat the Indians 6-1. After the game there was a fireworks show. I had such a good time I almost didn't mind the rainy 58 degree night or the fact I had to wear a hoodie to a game in July.
