My last day in SoCal. I spent the morning at the
Bolsa Chica Wetlands. It is a great place to hike among lots of shorebirds. I am not like a member of the Audubon Society. I enjoy seeing wildlife of all types but I can not identify every bird by sight or the sounds it makes. I did have a few relaxing hours hiking through the wetlands. Then I had lunch with my dad, took him shopping for Christmas gifts, then headed home to Chicago. Where I am currently freezing my jingle bells off. At least I had a couple of days in the sun before heading back to 3 months of winter. Hell 3 months at best probably closer to 5 months.
