Some final thoughts about Lollapalooza...thanks to George & Marcy for making the trip to Chicago to go with me, it wouldn't have been nearly as much fun without you two...the city of Chicago and the Lollapalooza organizers did a great job putting on the concerts...the concession prices were very reasonable...the quality of the food was incredible...too bad Budwieser sponsored it, but even the beer was fairly priced...the Chicago Park District did a great job drying the fields after Friday's all day rain...the sound at every stage was crystal clear...the city looked great from the park, especially at night...the police were present throughout the park but allowed people to enjoy the shows however they chose to party...the bands were very good...I met a lot of fans at the different stages, everyone was pretty cool to each other...I did not see one fight all weekend...let's go again next year.
